"Music: The Tie That Binds" will be the theme for the Heritage Center's 11th Contributing Patrons Appreciation Dinner on Tuesday evening, March 11 at the Johnston County Agricultural Center. Regional TV personality and on-stage entertainer Tina Seldin Cash will serve as our emcee, guiding us through a look back through Johnston County's musical heritage and performing several songs along the way.
Invited to the March 11 banquet are Contributing Patrons of the Heritage Center who make donations of at least $50 between now and the end of February. This is the only time of the year that the Heritage Center asks for financial contributions to help underwrite the cost of our services. Last year's campaign raised $26,125 from 224 Patrons: individuals, couples, and businesses.
To make a donation, e-mail us at heritagecenter@johnstonnc.com to request a registration form. Or, you may come by the Heritage Center when we're open (9-5 Monday-Saturday), fill out a form, and give us a check (or cash) at the same time. We'll acknowledge your donation with a letter that will serve as your receipt for 2014 income-tax deductions.
The Heritage Center is located in the former headquarters building of First Citizens Bank at the corner of Market and Third streets in Downtown Smithfield.
