Johnston County Takes Flight

While Johnston County can claim many superlatives - one of the fastest growing counties in the state- when you look to the skies we can boast about the the busiest airport in North Carolina for general aviation operations and the fourth busiest airport overall in the state, trailing only Charlotte, Raleigh and Greensboro. 

The airport serves as a significant economic driver that supports more than 1,100 jobs and generates over $210 in economic output.

David Harris, executive director will be a panelist at the Triangle East State of the Region Breakfast where the focus will be on Trains, Planes, and Automobiles. The breakfast will be held on September 16 at 8 AM at the Johnston County Ag Center.
