White Swan is proud to be an 87 year old eastern NC BBQ landmark. It has always been a family owned restaurant with our family being the proud owners since 1988. Our 'Cue is traditional Eastern NC style, made with pork shoulders and butts which gives it a nice texture and flavor. Barbecue ( BBQ, Bar-B-Q) defined: A revered cultural experience in the South involving slow-cooked meat, sauce, sweet tea, family, friends and lots of laughter; aka a Noun. Most find it easy to agree it's got to be cooked carefully for a long time and eaten in a place with atmosphere traditionally where there's enough smoke/flavor to stick to your clothes when you leave.
